Yep, this is how it has been since I can remember.

If you think of it like a sentence, if (the thing I'm looking for = the thing 
that I'm matching it to) then the thing you are matching it to can change and 
can have the wild card. You don't want to change the nature of the thing that 
you are looking for it is usually static.

If I want colors that start with a B I would look for

[Table]Color = "B@"

In other words your filter is on the right and can change and match many static 
things such as colors on the left.

Maybe this isn't a very good explanation, just stick with "@" always on the 
right :)
