We use e.g.
C:\intraplan\intraplan server\intraplan.exe C:\intraplan\intraplan server\server database\intraplan.4dc C:\intraplan\intraplan.4DD C:\intraplan\intraplan.4DIndx ... and so on .. The folder C:\intraplan\intraplan server is generated by the built process of 4D. The advantage is here we can update the whole thing without touching/moving of the data file. The update package contains the mentioned folder "intraplan server".
