Maybe this is too obvious or difficult due to the sheer size of the logfile, but would it not be possibly to ingest the log file into a database for easy searching? You could maybe use 4D :P
Alternatively, how about feeding it into a log monitoring and analysis service such as Splunk, https://www.splunk.com or Loggly, https://www.loggly.com?
