I am using Rob Laveau plugins called XL Plugin with great success. Pretty
simple to use. For example, your formula would translate to this.
$formula:="=("+xlSheetRowColumnToAddress
($sheet;$row;$col;$RowRelative;$ColRelative)+"+"+xlSheetRowColumnToAddress
($sheet;$row;$col;$RowRelative;$ColRelative)+")"
xlSheetSetCellFormula ($sheet;$row;3;$formula)
I think there is a way to do something similar with Miyako's XLS plugin.
