30mm requirement was just from eye balling the PCB and deciding that would be 
enough. I have now got out the calipers and measured it and can give a more 
accurate minimum size of 23.2mm. 

For the more bottle shaped ones there LED tape going down the middle would 
probably work better than lighting from the lid that I was thinking for jars, 
limit on neck would then be down to about 10mm. 

So, yeah, some of them look like they'd be useful.
