#394: too many midiclients

my setup results in over 60 apps which are all connected to each other via
midi. now i tried to add an app and that results in the following error:

ALSA lib seq_hw.c:457:(snd_seq_hw_open) open /dev/snd/seq failed: Cannot
allocate memory
snd_seq_open() error

this especially was produced by starting 'seq24'.
{{{cat /proc/asound/seq/clients}}} shows me that:

peak clients : 71
max clients : 192

the first software midi client starts (ever) with id 128 and the last has
id 191. results in max 64 software clients.
there seems to be no way (options for snd-seq-midi or so) to increase the
max clients.
