I have a PreSonus firepod. It works fine with the previous version of 64
Studio (that is, not the testing version for the new release). I haven't
installed the latest testing version yet, simply because I understand
that FFADO is not working yet. And without FFADO, I won't have any
sound. If you don't mind installing the last version and then doing a
new install when the next version is released, you might try that.

Hmmm, looking at http://www.ffado.org/?q=devicesupport/list&page=1

and your M-Audio Firewire 410 is not supported:

"Unsupported
We have enough information to say that a device will not work.

If a device is listed as 'unsupported' or 'unknown' this doesn't mean
that we can't or won't support it. It simply means that we don't have
the things we need to support it.

Please don't hesitate to contact any vendor to ask whether their devices
are supported on Linux. This might raise the vendor's awareness of Linux
as a viable audio platform. Even for the devices that are marked as
supported contacting the vendors makes sense."

Good luck!
