| I'm not sure how stable my DAW is, because of the upgrades. If e.g. | jackd version 0.109.2 will be not as stable as the one of Etch (0.103.x | or 0.106.x or what version it's now), that won't be a problem for me, | when doing homerecording. However, it's good that 64 Studio is based | onto the stable Etch release and not onto Lenny, to be safe when doing | professional recording. Thank you for that :). But as a Linux for | everything I need, I can't await 3.0 and I hope there will be better ATI | drivers in versions greater than 3.0. | I would not bet on this. Binary only drivers have been a problem for a long time, and I see nothing on the horizon to change this. In fact, this is why my next machine will be Intel based with an Intel graphics adaptor. I for one have had enough. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.6 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFISWvzwRXgH3rKGfMRAhAlAJ90OL110ADWHkPHADc+F8gT1HpEhQCfZmog YG1qHfDb5ZFPuhF4k+LoURw= =PlRC -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ 64studio-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.64studio.com/mailman/listinfo/64studio-users
