You don't have to read those mails. Select 'em and dump 'em if you prefer, but Ralf needs advice from the community of Linux users who are already using their machines for music. If he asks his questions on a more general board then he'll get a more general solution. However, he needs a *specific* solution, one that might be better found on a list such as this one.
