Is there a way to set the metronome for the space between e.g. each 1/4 note, by tapping, for some Linux sequencers?
I'm not thinking of tapping 1, 2, 3, 4, 1, 2, 3, 4 and the sequencer ascertains the speed for the whole song, from start to the end 120.432BPM. I'm thinking of a tempo list, you tap and the sequencer notes from bar 1, 1/4 to 2/4 the tempo is 120.430BPM, from bar 1, 2/4 to 3/4 the speed is 120.674BPM etc., different tempos for the space between each 1/4 notes from the start to the end. This is one way Cubase works, I never used this, I always does a special kind of quantize, manual event editing and less extreme tempo changes. There are very good ways to quantise and to do human touch like artificial touch, instead of having MIDI jitter or something like Hydrogens humanize, that won't do it like you feel it.
