With my old hardware I had a AGP MX4?? too, I guess it was a MX440, but
I never used a higher resolution than 1024x760. Even if I would use the
same card too, you are using today, I couldn't test some resolutions,
because of my monitor.

I can remember that your 6200 was recommended as a good card in that list.

Have you searched Linux gamer forums for your card? Gamers are often
experts for graphics.
