Very strange it's the one I used, and exactly the same as the one your post is looking for.
NO_PUBKEY 40976EAF437D05B5
Is the internet working? does this run?

apt-get update

Then try for the keys again. It has to be as root.

gpg --keyserver wwwkeys.eu.pgp.net --recv-keys 40976EAF437D05B5
gpg --armor --export 40976EAF437D05B5 | sudo apt-key add -
