Try booting from a Live CD (or the Ubuntu that is already on the system) and edit the menu.lst
What you could try is replacing the device portion for root= Replace UUID=354a3759-3e65-4fa9-91f1-3e73b3f0d8a1 with the /dev/sdx that is appropriate for the actual device. You can do this temporarily within grub by choosing the edit option and editing the root= portion. Then use the onscreen prompts to boot. I hope this was clear, I have only been awake for 10 minutes or so :) Hth, -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.9 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iEYEARECAAYFAkliLx4ACgkQwRXgH3rKGfOkhgCeLyHQPcO5k6GHmvVB5cTj2Uk5 mW8AnjhmZFnZuuGxHvEtN9YFOKDdrPko =FjjC -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ 64studio-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.64studio.com/mailman/listinfo/64studio-users
