It is expected.  It is not really the browser that is the problem but
some plugin, such as flash, mplayer, or xine.

Something like vlc-jack plugin would be nice ...

Mplayer already supports jack, but this is of no use to you when using
youtube.  You will have to wait for Adobe to support jack.  Good luck

I have two sound cards, with the default being the onboard audio, and
the secondary the RME-9652.  Flash et al seem to use the onboard by
default (or more accurately the default alsa device, hw0)


I also personally stay away from youtube when working, I have yet to see
an actual use other than wasting my time.  Maybe I am too old for youtube?
