Hi Mira :)try to remove Iceweasel (Firefox) by Synaptic and install it again and reboot.
I don't know what's going wrong, but I would "follow the messages". Because I guess you rebooted, the next step might be (I'm not sure) to reinstall Iceweasel and "mark it for complete removal".
