I agree with erik, given 9fs dump I have no need for SCM, however the return of the /n/sources/extra/changes would be wonderful.
For the couple of years the guys at the labs where keeping one up to date I found it very interesting and, I think I learnt a lot. It also helped me to feel more envolved and focused on the development of plan9. I do understand its a pain it have to write messages especially when time is short enough to just write the code, however I would enter a plee for it to return, even if its just a sentence per update/patch. my 2 cents. -Steve
