i submitted some changes to replica several years ago which should cause replica to abort when the remote fs has gone into casters up mode. the changes are worth considering if you depend on replica. normally, contrib/install quanstro/replica but also http://sources.coraid.com/sources/contrib/quanstro/replica/replica http://sources.coraid.com/sources/contrib/quanstro/root/sys/src/replica - erik
