Also note there's a new book out that includes Inferno as a major example, essentially explaining OS principles in general, in Inferno, and in Linux: Principles of Operating Systems: Design and Applications by Brian Stuart ( http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/1418837695 ) I've only just started reading it, so can't really comment on how good it is yet. Looks promising so far though. Robby
