that's just a fossil-supporting kernel. you can also boot from a file server over il or tcp. i don't have source i can distribute yet. there was also a choice made in using the FPARCH from nix that spills over into the other arches. it was proablly a bad idea. i'll try to pull something together this afternoon. - erik
