This is more of a request for confirmation. Page 321 contains the following, as usual, near the bottom:
; ramfs -D -s ram This gives the following error: ramfs: create failed: '#s/ramfs' srv file already exists ok, it already exists. different setup. next command, page 322: mount -c /srv/ram /n/ram mount: can't open /srv/ram: '/srv/ram' file does not exist hmm.. ok, cd into /srv, fish around. I see ramfs. it -did- seem to indicate that a file like that already existed. so try: mount -c /srv/ramfs /n/ram the output is very similar to that quoted in the book, so I assume that this is simply an evolution of the system, and for the second command, /srv/ram should be replaced with /srv/ramfs. Like I said, request for confirmation. ------------------------------------------ 9fans: 9fans Permalink: https://9fans.topicbox.com/groups/9fans/Td160c1052414d12d-M409318e42f7dda3ffb15ee80 Delivery options: https://9fans.topicbox.com/groups/9fans/subscription
