I have Chrome, but I didn't try it out. I finally did a cold reboot and things have improved.
I wish I could keep Tbird, but the last time I upgraded past 8, my filters went totally bonkers. Now I have filters that refuse to find their respective boxes and error messages, emails that refuse to filter until I manually move them out of the inbox - but they may be copying instead of moving because I'm finding several (as in 6+ copies of the email where they are supposed to move to), usually without error messages, and so forth.
