Subject: Billboards Educate on Abortion in the Black Community To: alt.abortion, alt.atheism, alt.religion.christian.roman-catholic, soc.women More than 16 million black babies have been killed since the early 70's. How many more must die before this genocide stops? The black history in America goes back 400 years, these people have suffered enough. The Radiance Foundation and Georgia's Operation Outrage should have the full support of anyone with compassion and a sense of humanity. http://www.citizenlink.org/CLNews/A000012080.cfm Billboards Educate on Abortion in the Black Community The Radiance Foundation and Georgia's Operation Outrage have teamed up to launch the Too Many Aborted campaign. The effort is aimed at educating African Americans about the millions of black children who have been aborted since 1973. The first step is a series of billboards in the state of Georgia showing the face of a black child with the caption, "Black Children are an Endangered Species." Planned Parenthood routinely plants its abortion clinics in the middle of minority neighborhoods. It says abortions help bring the African-American community out of poverty by reducing single motherhood. Catherine Davis, director of minority outreach with Georgia Right to Life, said in Georgia in 2008, almost two-thirds of the 30,066 abortions were performed on black women. "To say that somehow this is lifting us out of poverty," she said, "it's a fabrication and it's demeaning, and it's belittling to every black child in this nation." More than 16 million black babies have been killed since the early 70's, according to Jesse Lee Peterson, president and founder of The Brotherhood Organization of A New Destiny. He said one solution is for men to take responsibility. "What we need are men to get married," he said. "They need to love what's right with all their heart, soul and might, and then to love the woman as they love themselves." -- J Young [email protected] -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "A Civil Religious Debate" group.
