There are observable consequences, but I don't think that makes moral
laws self-evident. Some people do horrible things without any bad
consequences for themselves.

Or take the example of two lesbians getting married, spending their
lives together and raising a child. Some people will say it's immoral,
but are there clear consequences in their actions that will make it
"self-evident" to them or to other people that it's immoral?
