Indeed, I am still thinking about releasing (the software) into the  
public domain.
Not sure though since some other project which is commercial uses the  
same libraries i wrote.
So i would have to split my libraries into a public domain version and  
one that contains NDA-covered code.
But that is still on my ToDo list ;)
The hardware is designed and built by a friend, so no plans to make it public.


Btw: Does anyone know if there is some "streaming" implementation of  
an USRP driver on windows?
So that the USRP recorded IQ signal is fed directly into another  
application via e.g. shared memory or network.
For now my tool will only read .cfile, but i want to have a live  
processing with USRP too.

Well, I think GSM Analyzer does not more than the airprobe approach.
It detects the network setup and tries to track every connection  
establishment, decrypting it if possible. If the connection was a TCH,  
it will write the contained GSM 06.03 stream into a .gsm file.

This is of course only in downlink direction.
As explained above, I am using some custom RF hardware.
So you maybe better stick with USRP+gnuradio+airprobe which is free :)
