Actually, the container crash thing was a major problem a lot of people experienced with the initial release of that feature and not just users of screen readers. The module or component or whatever container feature was designed to keep Firefox from crashing when a Java or Flash or other such component crashed. Initially, it seemed to cause more crashes than it saved and it often led FF into locking up if it didn't crash. Since the latest Firefox update, the feature seems to work as it is supposed to and no more crashes just from opening up a page with a particular component on it. So, I would suggest making sure you are running the most recent version of Firefox before trying anything else.

Regards,

Chris

Sounds like your profile is probably corrupt. Try creating a new one by running firefox -p.
