Hi, all,

I've noticed that Access World is often behind. I have often enough seen a detailed review of something come out after a major upgrade to the product being reviewed, making the validity of the review rather questionable. Since GW Micro was disassociated from Hims about three months ago, Access World has no excuse for that error as far as I'm concerned.

It's all well and good when mainstream products can meet our needs, but those people do not necessarily know or care what they are. I use a lot of technology, including Window Eyes (smile), but along with it, I'll keep my Braille Note too. EVELYN

You'd have to ask AccessWorld about that. We have not been involved with
HIMS notetaker development since at least November of last year.

How can it be out of date as it was only published a week or so ago.

There is definitely a change in behavior in this application. Run it and arrow across the card stacks. Try doing it quickly, say from the seventh, hit your left arrow four times. You will hear stack six read, then the stack three, even with interrupt enabled. This definitely slows down the process of playing the game, and it may
indicate something that will appear in more important places.

Other than that, the beta has never hung when coming out of
hibernate, and I've only had one or two mis-behaviors with firefox. It has been several days since I've considered taking a hammer to
this computer.
