Honestly, the best way is with Word, since that's the program that
creates those types of files, and since Window-Eyes text accuracy in
Word is quite high. You can't edit doc/docx files in Notepad++ because
they're not text; they're a proprietary binary format, and would show up
as garbage in a text editor.
