I thought that %%MIDI meant stuff for abc2midi. If %%MIDI means stuff which all programs which convert ABC to MIDI must interpret then sort of OK, but this is not MIDI specific. If it was converted to WAV or MP3 it would still apply, so %%PLAY would be better.
I'm not sure if I buy it anyway. Why would one want to have a playback-only field that did not apply to a human player too? Perhaps an example would clarify? It's tempting to use the old style "number only" Frank> syntax for that, but I'm not sure if that's a good idea. If it's playback only, wouldn't it make sense to put it in a %%MIDI line? -- Laura (mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] , http://www.laymusic.org/ ) (617) 661-8097 fax: (801) 365-6574 233 Broadway, Cambridge, MA 02139 To subscribe/unsubscribe, point your browser to: http://www.tullochgorm.com/lists.html To subscribe/unsubscribe, point your browser to: http://www.tullochgorm.com/lists.html
