GB looks to me like a poor man's CuBase, i.e. it deals primarily with audio tracks. CuBase can also include midi tracks, and has a music notation window which can display and edit midi as musical notation. I doubt if GB does even that - it's aimed at people who are not musically literate, but want to play around with multi-track audio.
If that's the case I don't see a lot of scope for interworking with BarFly. If the AppleLoop format is documented I suppose I can add that to the export options.
