Just a quick comment, and a question:
The question: Would you be willing to run Python 2.3 program to do that ? I could fairly quickly give you something that would let you copy text into the clipboard, and then run the program to expand the repeats.
The Comment: would you be interesting in helping Beta an ABC catalogger and editor ? Right now, it doesn't expand repeats, but with a bit of convincing, I could probably get it to do that ...
