Hi Neil, I've suspended the project for a while, but I noted that really is needed such a tool. My temporary solution to use abc2midi + mid2sco is very limited, especially for microtonalism and tunings (only 128 pitches, 16 channels, voice overlay is output to diferent tracks...). Additionaly, I think ABC is very nice for computer music (text notation), because it is easy to write composition tools that generate abc code. Typically a abc2something tool is written as a command line program, correct? Then I think it is not difficult write it as multiplataform, even if binaries are available only for the author's system. For instance, I can only write and test GNU/Linux programs. If you use standard libraries, I am interested to contribute with the GNU/Linux adaptations. BTW, which abc parser would you use?
