Greetings all Hope you're all surviving the aftermath of an aber weekend!
I'm feeling very old today as my baby brother turned 18 this morning!! It's really scary, I remember him being born and everything and he is now legally an adult (he even gets to vote this afternoon). Oh well, at least I don't feel as old as my mum!!!! Have been up for yonks as the mature adult in question made a point of coming into my room and jumping on my bed at 6.15 this morning (I thought birthday excitement decreased with age!) Of course the upshot of all this is a night in the pub with my dad footing the bill, and several bottles of bubbly - hoooray! Have just realised that I go to Spain in 4 days time and have done zillo sorting out for it, bugger!!!! It's comforting at least that my organisational skills have not improved since student days! A thought for you all.....in the autumn how would you like a get- together at our cottage in herefordshire? Only it's quite a convenient meeting point geographically, it has all the mod cons with non of the annoyances that come with our own houses (such as parents and siblings!) I've also just found out that my we're likely to be putting it on the market in the new year, so opportunities to go up there are fast running out.
