Many of you probably noticed a lack of mail on the list recently. Here is what happened. There is some road construction going on down the block. Late Tuesday, North America time, a guy with a backhoe or a front loader dug up some dirt with a bunch of wires in it. For the next 72 hours, our local phone company tried to put the pieces back together again. About an hour ago, they had some success. Things should now be back to normal.
