With the release of XFree 4.20 comes the release of a new set of
Type 1 and True Type fonts from Luxi. These are particularly interesting
because they have such a broad range of encodings.

Can someone download them and give them a try with abiword?
Of particular interest is this gem:
In particular, these fonts include all the glyphs needed for ISO 8859
parts 1, 2, 3, 4, 9, 13 and 15, as well as all the glyphs in the Adobe
Standard encoding and the Windows 3.1 character set.
So once abiword 1.2 is released and becomes a pure unicode application, we
can use these fonts in X to get all the Symbol and Dingbat fonts we need
:-)
