If there's been an answer to Daniel's query, I've missed it. I have the same 
problem, but on Red Hat 7.1. (I also had it on 7.0.)

I have two computers in my system, both running RedHat 7.1. Abiword runs fine 
on one of them; on the other, I get the same error message when I try to open 
it.

I'll try to figure something out, but in the meantime, if anyone has an idea, 
I would appreciate hearing it. Thanks,
