Do you mean 'nothing', or just no spell check? You should be able to see
the selection rushing through the document as Abi pretends to spell check.
If you see the selection rushing, I've seen the problem, and it has been
fixed for the next version of Abi.
However, the general answer to this is 'wait for 0.9.0', which should be
out real soon now, and which will have working spelling. The spellcheck
feature has proved very sensitive and unpredictable, but it seems to be
quite stable in the latest CVS builds.
