abiword 0.90 crashes

On trying to load an .rtf file (any .rtf) abiword crashes with the following:

I have installed the gtk international rpm.

Any ideas ?

PS.

Whenever I start it up the following error msg appears:

Gtk-CRITICAL **: file gtktable.c: line 505 (gtk_table_attach): assertion `child != NULL' failed.
