No, and I don't think that there will be. We have a smart "auto-detect" 
feature. The Windows File->Open dialog should default to "Auto-Detect" and not 
"AbiWord (.abw)". I'll look into this, but we won't have a default open type, 
becuase it really doesn't make much sense.

This will be hard to do, and it's not very high on our priority list.
