I am trying to install AbiWord. The download from AbiSource brought
abiword-gnome-RH7.1-0.9.4.1-1.i386.rpm
[A]
which looks right for the RedHat 7.1 Linux running on my computer and
needed some downloads. One remains to satisfy the rpm upgrade, that one
is
libgal.so.11
[B]
I've tried downloading it repeatedly & in different ways. None satisfy
rpm -Uvh
abiword-gnome-RH7.1-0.9.4.1-1.i386.rpm [1}
It still needs libgal.so.11 / [B]
My attempts to download libgal.so.11 have hinged on some packages listed
in the attachment to this. None of them, like gal-0.11.2-1.scr.rpm
(whose description in RPM Pbone I read to think it would get
libgal.so.11 / [B]) gets libgal.so.11 . At any rate, when I try [1] -
to install abiword-gnome-RH7.1-0.9.4.1-1.i386.rpm I read yet again that
[A] needs [B] I'm puzzled!
Help in guiding me to solve problem I describe above.I will much
appreciate.
