I can confirm the typing delay, using XDarwin on OS X. I believe the prob is caused by re-drawing the screen (I've noted that I get MUCH less of a delay when I'm just typing into a blank document, or adding to the end of a doc, vs. getting a MUCH longer delay when adding text to the middle of a line, such that the prog is forced to shuffle letters right as I add text.)
I was sorta under the impression that this was actually an XDarwin-on-OSX problem more than a Abi problem, but am not sure what/who made me think that. Can anyone give any insight here? Hope this helps (at least a little) Best, T.
