I am now onto version 0.99.1 of AbiWord, and unfortunately the plugins do not, and have never, worked. I installed a number of plugins from RPM, and they are in the correct directory (in fact, one of them appears automatically in the list of plugins), but they do not work. The only one detected automatically is the URLDict plugin, and even a manual activation does not work. Instead, I get a "Could not activate plugin" message, which is not very informative. I have combed the mailing list archive for a solution, but have found nothing. Any help would be most welcome.
