(Newbie) Upgrading Abiword

Hi
I'm trying to upgrade Abiword from the 0.7 that came with Mandrake 8.0 
to 0.96, but it has unsatisfied dependancies which I cannot locate on 
the rpmfind site, are they suppoed to have <> in their name?  eg libgal 
S <>=0.8 or something like that.  Help!
