Dom is implementing an interface to plug a grammar checker into.
We are investingating our options.

There is a thesaurus
http://aiksaurus.com/
ive used the standalone version for windows, nice on Jared (who also
maintains the website)

there is a windows plugin around somewhere (try
http://sourceforge.net/projects/abiword/ )

it could probably do with some testing.

The developers will work on whatever they feel like working on.
You can try and convince a developer to work on something, but dont hold
your breath. If you want to sponsor a developer to work on something
specific i think that could probably be arranged. (some of the developers
have PayPal accounts).

If you have not read about what to expect then read:
http://www.abisource.com/support/expectations.phtml
if you have read it then you need to read it again.
