Hi, I got a Word DOC from a Windows user and tried out the docbook-export.
Unfortunately all German umlauts and other special characters are set to another encoding afterwords, e.g. 'WOEste' where it was 'Wste' or 'N~@~YDour' where it was 'N'Dour' and 'Diabaté' where it was 'Diabat' (african names). Seemes that if sending this mail, it'll do the same to the special characters ... - anyway: How can I avoid this behavior and get the original encoding /charset into the docbook file? Thanks in advance.
