Hello. I am running Abiword on Windows ME and cannot get the spell check to work on latest installed version - Abiword 1.0.2
The dictionary folder has Americanhash 840kb hash file and americanhash encoding. When prog is opened I get a 'flash screen' Abiword 07 but the about Abiword gives ver. 1.0.2 When ver. 1.0.2 is loaded and a misspelled word entered followed by CR I get "could not load the dictionary for the enGB language." the abc button is also greyed out. I have reinstalled old version 0.9.4.1 in different folder - the dictionary folder has american hash 840kb and the spell checker works fine. Any help appreciated.
