I am using Abiword 1.0.2. I have the following files available: /usr/lib/ispell/american.hash /usr/lib/ispell/american.hash-encoding /usr/share/AbiSuite/dictionary/american.hash /usr/share/AbiSuite/dictionary/american.hash-encoding However, when I load abiword it puts up an error that 'Could not load the dictionary for the en-US language. I have en-US as my default language. I have tried completely removing abiword and installing it fresh. I still get this. How can I remedy the situation. I am using linux 2.4.18-386. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Michael --
