some people have been having problems connecting to the various abiword severs, it is not just you.
I dont know what the IP address is but some of the developers have just added the IP address to the Hosts file as a workaround. Try again later, apparently it varies. It is possible but unlikely that http://www.abisource.com/bugzilla/ will work instead.
