A Question about live&death
In my opinion one of the most important instrument for keeping flying above
ground is a Radio Altimeter.
It is rather expensive, and most , or rather nearly all of ligth aircraft ,
X and U.L does no carry it.
And this kind of planes , normally do not fligth at 30000 feet but very
close to the hard ground .
Now , you may find for a couple of bucks in any good
hardware store a laser or ultrasonic
mesure meters , that give you the exact distance from the instrument to the
any wall up to a milimeter .
As in ligth planes , the important fligth level is to keep
the plane above ground , why
instead of a professional radio Altimeter that give you thousand of feets ,
mobody adapted a commercial
electronic mesuring devise that give you the most important data , the last
feets to burial .
