Hello,
Can anyone tell me how much fuel is minimal needed
for take-off for a small +/- 1320 lbs. (600kg) helicopter. I wondered because I
am not a pilot and I am making a pre-design of an ornicopter (flapping
rotorblades, no torque), based upon an available helikit. I want to lose some
fuel weight to achieve more useful load, for take test-equipment. Is it still
safe or legal (in order to comply with regulations)to take 10% of the full tank
capacity to achieve less weight?
