Hi Volks,
Try using the crosstab query wizard.
Select the Query tab on the database window, select new, select Crosstab
Query Wizard. This will walk you through the process.

Subject: [AccessDevelopers] pivot table

Hi,

I need to create a table that has ten different items in rows and say
a time frame of ten years in the colums. i want that every time the
user selects a new project this ten by ten matrix is created. is
there an easy way of doing this? or is it better to just use excel
spreadsheets and import the data? i was hoping for something like a
main form that has then projects and then a subform or a new form
started by the main form that would display then ten by ten matrix.
e.g.

project 1
        year 1 year 2 year 3 ....
item a
item b
item c
...

any help greatly appreciated.

cheers

volks
